FREE FIRE:

I hated director Ben Wheatley’s previous film High-Rise, and I told him about it, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from Free Fire. This movie was a lot of fun and provided plenty of laughs. The entire story takes place in a abandoned warehouse, that’s were some two gangs start unleashing a bevy of firearms on each other. Literally, the shootout takes place for the entire movie! If you crave a shoot em’ up action with a lot of witty sarcastic British humor, then this is the movie to see. Free Fire features a stellar cast that consists of Oscar winner Bri Larson (the only female among the men), Armie Hammer, Sharlto Coopley, Cillian Murphy and Jack Reynor among others. This action parody comedy has the makings of a cult classic.
