NORMAN:
Richard Gere has made some taken on some interesting movie choices and eccentric characters in recent years. In Norman, he does just that. Norman Oppenheimer (Gere) is a small time guy who befriends a young down-on-his-luck politician that ends up taking Norman along for the ride once he makes it big. The character of Norman is the kinda guy would wouldn’t really want to trust in life. He’s a parasite, schemer, liar and dreamer and he gets people to believe in him mainly due to his charisma and charm. This is an interesting film with an interesting character and performance from Gere. A character driven film, that’s something a little different, it’s worth checking out.
