One of Mel Gibson’s most iconic performances and film, Braveheart, is one of those all-time great films that will never be forgotten. Gibson plays William Wallace, a brave Scotsman who guides his men against the oppression from England. Braveheart features gruesome battle scenes which are memorably intense. There is certainly a reason why this film is considered a classic. You can point to the five Oscars, including the big one for Best Picture.
