Must See Home Releases of this Week

Action, deception and crime. That’s the formula that Bent is comprised of. Karl Urban plays a shamed detective who is in trouble with the law and a drug lord. Sides are blurred as he’s wrapped up in a government conspiracy. The film delivers exactly what you’d be looking for in this sort of genre, explosions, shootouts and plot twists. It’s entertaining with good action sequences.

I liked Urban in this sort of role. He has this “coolness” about it. Kinda suave also, but gets dirty when he has to. This role comes natural to him. Sofia Vergara and Andy Garcia play supporting roles alongside Urban. If you don’t raise your expectations outside reality then this will be a cool movie that you’ll enjoy.

BENT is available now on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and On Demand
