Speaking of classic all-time films. Very similar to Braveheart, Gladiator is sort of the Roman version of it. One of Ridley Scott’s finest works and arguably Russell Crowe’s best performance ever. The film is about a general forced into slavery, but fought his way to become a brave gladiator who challenged an empire.
The film looks epic. The shots of the colosseum are incredibly grand and imposing. The battles are some of the fiercest and most exhilaratingly brutal in cinema history. Just like Braveheart, this film is winner of five Oscars and including Best Picture and Best Actor for Russell Crowe. Gladiator has to be one of the best films to see on 4K Ultra HD.
