Are you feeling some action? Look no further than Benny Chan’s action thriller Raging Fire. Starring the fantastic Donnie Yen (Ip Man), who plays a tough ass cop who comes across his former protegee Yau Kong-ngo (Nichola Tse), who is looking to take him down. Master versus student, in a battle for survival.
This movie has some seriously explosive action. By action I mean, blowups, gun fights and actual martial arts ass kicking. It surefly will satisfy your action fix. Don’t let the subtitles deter you, this movie should be enjoyed just watching what happens on-screen.
Sadly it’s filmmaker Benny Chan’s final film, due to his passing at the age of 58. I thought the movie was highly entertaining and a testament to Mr. Chan’s work. One of my favorite action films of the last few months. Grab some popcorn and snacks and enjoy.
