NOBODY’S FOOL:
Tiffany Haddish is bringing in the laughs? Shocking. Only if you were under a rock somewhere. She’s been on fire over the past year. In this film Haddish plays a woman who is released from prison and is reunited with her sister (Tika Sumpter), who is the polar opposite of her. The sisters unite to catch an online boyfriend that’s a catfish. Now that’s a premise that writes the comedy for itself.
Haddish sticks to the formula of what she does best, she’s entertaining, loud and in your face. It’s a character she’s perfected and one we are used to expect.
If you’re looking for laughs and a good time, look no further. Sure, the plot is outlandish at times, but it’s part of the crazed fun. Though, in the world of dating these catfish incidents aren’t all that rare, so imagine some truth to this. Oh, and the man behind this film is Tyler Perry, so you know it comes from a someone who knows what they are doing.
