This film is based on the Michael McDowell novel and it tells the story of the Larkin family and their misfortunes. Set in a small creepy town (aren’t they all small and creepy?) where supernatural beings reign supreme with graves rising and a local river being infused by a mysterious presence. The town is overrun with all sort of paranormal activity. Cold Moon has some fun elements of horror and supernatural blended together. Robbie Kay, Josh Stewart, Frank Whaley and Christopher Lloyd star. The movie feels more like a cult-classic than a standard horror release, and that’s a good thing. It’s spooky enough to keep your attention. For a small indie, this one does well on most accounts.

Cold Moon is out now in select theaters, digital and VOD

Once upon a time I watched Monday Night Raw on Monday nights. By coincidence I ended up hooked on The Bachelor/Bachelorette. That lead to a Blog at Chicago Now called Bachelor Universe and a podcast of the same name. Now, I've decided to spread my wings and create this site that can be your Bachelor/Bachelorette destination. Aside from The Bachelor, in my personal life I'm a bachelor myself. Looking for the love of my life (not handing out many roses). I'm an avid animal lover. Have a rabbit and two turtles. I'm a film critic and co-founder of the Chicago Independent Film Critics Circle (CIFCC). Lover of sports. Currently residing in the suburbs of Chicago (my hometown).
