If you think the title of this film sounds familiar it’s because it is. It’s the remake of Francis Ford Coppola’s first feature film. This updated version of Dementia might be even better than the original. The plot revolves around around a family gathering in a fancy estate (castle) and a ghost and killer are lurking among them. This movie is a lot of fun. It’s got twist and turns and a good amount of suspense throughout. The fun part was not knowing who was gonna be killed off and who is the culprit. I like when movies, especially horror, make you think and try to figure out the plot. This film accomplishes that while being entertaining. A lesser-known cast filled in nicely and made the characters interesting.

Dementia 13 is out now in select theaters, VOD and Digital on October 10

Once upon a time I watched Monday Night Raw on Monday nights. By coincidence I ended up hooked on The Bachelor/Bachelorette. That lead to a Blog at Chicago Now called Bachelor Universe and a podcast of the same name. Now, I've decided to spread my wings and create this site that can be your Bachelor/Bachelorette destination. Aside from The Bachelor, in my personal life I'm a bachelor myself. Looking for the love of my life (not handing out many roses). I'm an avid animal lover. Have a rabbit and two turtles. I'm a film critic and co-founder of the Chicago Independent Film Critics Circle (CIFCC). Lover of sports. Currently residing in the suburbs of Chicago (my hometown).
