Wind? River? Oscar? All those words go together. Wind River is certain to make some noise during awards season. Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen star in this murder mystery about a tracker attempting to get redemption and teaming with an FBI agent in order to solve a murder of a girl on a isolated Native American Reservation. This film is gripping. It has a special style to it that’s heavily credited to writer-director Taylor Sheridan (Sicario, Hell or High Water). Expertly crafted and executed. The filming locations feel authentic to the story. Imposing visually, nothing looks contrived. Fine performances from Renner and Olsen. This is undoubtedly a must-see movie in preparation for awards season.

Once upon a time I watched Monday Night Raw on Monday nights. By coincidence I ended up hooked on The Bachelor/Bachelorette. That lead to a Blog at Chicago Now called Bachelor Universe and a podcast of the same name. Now, I've decided to spread my wings and create this site that can be your Bachelor/Bachelorette destination. Aside from The Bachelor, in my personal life I'm a bachelor myself. Looking for the love of my life (not handing out many roses). I'm an avid animal lover. Have a rabbit and two turtles. I'm a film critic and co-founder of the Chicago Independent Film Critics Circle (CIFCC). Lover of sports. Currently residing in the suburbs of Chicago (my hometown).
