AMC Networks must-see series A Discovery of Witches second season is out now for Blu-ray and DVD. If you haven’t seen the show yet, get on it asap! The second season is based on the “All Souls” trilogy by Deborah Harkness.
The second season finds Diana (Teresa Palmer) and Matthew Clairmont (Matthew Goode) in Elizabethan London, after surviving the Congregation of vampires, witches and demons. This show looks vibrant. The sets and costumes are majestic. They have two strong leads in Palmer and Goode. It’s got the past meshing with the present in the story arch, not to mention plenty of witches, demons and vampires. A Discovery of Witches has it all.
I’m a huge Teresa Palmer fan, so naturally this show was a major draw for me from the get-go and it hasn’t disappointed. Fans of the first season will be pleased with season two, as the story builds off the events of season one. If you enjoy a mix of magic, fantasy and traveling back in time, catch up on season one and pick up season two of A Discovery of Witches.
