THE OUTSIDER:
If you haven’t seen a Timothy Woodward Jr. movie, you really should check them out. The Outsider is an old country western tale of a man hell-bent on revenge after the murder of his wife. The film stars Sean Patrick Flanery and Trace Adkins.
This is one gritty and dark western with plenty of intense moments. Woodward Jr. is a terrific and incorporating slick visually thrilling scenes. The action is ramped up. The characters are rough and tough.
I’m usually not a big fan of western’s, but this one is a lot edgier and faster paced than most. The actors do a good job in appearing as imposing characters. The Outsider is an old-school western with a modern movie magic added to it. Very solid film.
