As July comes to an end, don’t be caught behind the recent must-see home entertainment releases of the month. The Rock is teaming up with apes and the Super Troopers make a comeback after nearly two decades. Check out these recent releases that are available now:

RAMPAGE:

Dwayne Johnson is all over these days. He might be the hardest working movie star out there (basing it on all the movies he’s turning out). If you grew up in the early 90’s and Rampage sounds familiar to you, then you’re definitely onto something. The movie is based on the popular arcade and Nintendo game from the 90’s.

Think Jurassic Park/World, King Kong and Planet of the Apes and you pretty much have a blend of it all in Rampage. This is an exciting action movie and the ape isn’t even the main attraction, it’s Johnson, who manages to charm us into believing that a destructive giant ape can be as tender as a teddy bear.

Rampage offers all the fun and thrills you’d hope for in a giant blockbuster. It has visually striking characters and a lead actor that knows how to carry an action movie. One aspect that surprised me about the film was the amount of legitimate humor that’s incorporated into the dialogue and action.

RAMPAGE is out now on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and DigitalĀ
