I AM ELIZABETH SMART:

The story of Elizabeth Smart has made national news and been heard around the world. The 2002 abduction of a 14-year-old girl, Elizabeth Smart, who was taken from her home by religious fanatic. The story is harrowing. Held for nine-months in captivity, Smart was abused, drugged, starved and raped among other unimaginable acts.

Alana Boden plays Smart in the film, but the real-life Smart narrates the story in her own words, from her own experience. This is a powerful film that gives a detailed perspective of what happened to Smart and the horrors she managed to survive and overcome. It’s the most truthful take of Smart’s experience, as she also serves as executive producer on the movie. The movie previously aired on Lifetime, but you can own it now on DVD.

I AM ELIZABETH SMART is out now on DVD
