DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE:

Director Hector Hernandez Vicens goes into the archives to reconstruct George A. Romero’s Day of the Dead. Vicens delivers the new modern version, Bloodline. In spirit of the original Romero movie, Bloodline has all the zombie craziness you could expect. Cringe worthy encounters, freaky ones and even ones that will make you chuckle. High-wire intensity takes over nearly every scene. On a side note, look out for the Joker looking zombie. Bloodline offers all the blood, guts and screams that you would expect from a movie of this genre. Vicens does well on this one in paying homage to Romero.

DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE is out now on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD

Once upon a time I watched Monday Night Raw on Monday nights. By coincidence I ended up hooked on The Bachelor/Bachelorette. That lead to a Blog at Chicago Now called Bachelor Universe and a podcast of the same name. Now, I've decided to spread my wings and create this site that can be your Bachelor/Bachelorette destination. Aside from The Bachelor, in my personal life I'm a bachelor myself. Looking for the love of my life (not handing out many roses). I'm an avid animal lover. Have a rabbit and two turtles. I'm a film critic and co-founder of the Chicago Independent Film Critics Circle (CIFCC). Lover of sports. Currently residing in the suburbs of Chicago (my hometown).
