LEATHERFACE:

Arguably the best of all the Texas Chainsaw Massacre/Leatherface themed movies. It’s also unlike any of the previous ones. It’s a origin story that has some depth to it. While it certainly has the elements of a horror film it does play itself as much more of a drama (a good thing). The story introduces us to a young Leatherface, as a teenager, technically the twists tend to mislead as to which of the teens featured is Leatherface. Directors Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury manage to deliver on some chilling moments and some thought provoking moments. Leatherface is a fresh and cool movie that marks the start to a really good potential new franchise reboot.
