ONE PERCENT MORE HUMID:
A pair of childhood friends, Iris (Juno Temple) and Catherine (Julia Garner) reconnect over summer break and in turn relieve the dark secrets of their past that will guide them onto dangerous paths. This is a well acted film, that’s a coming-of-age story that deals with hardships, friendships and regrets. The characters relay lots of emotional trauma while trying to grow out of the pain they have endured. This is a movie with heavier unpleasant undertones, yet realistic outcomes. Ultimately, it offers a mixed bag of joy, heartbreak, love and the power of friendship. One Percent More Humid is definitely worth a watch.
