One of the most talked about films of the year is ‘Dune’. A visual masterpiece from Denis Villeneuve. Halloween Kills takes over right after the event of Halloween (2018). This latest Halloween franchise has delivered on suspense and thrills. It’s one of the most frightening films of the entire franchise. Jamie Lee Curtis being back gives you the feels. This is undoubtedly the most vicious and ruthless Michael Myers yet. Check it out. HALLOWEEN KILLS arrives on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on January 11. The Eternals have arrived. The group of Marvel’s ancient heroes come together to save the world. It stars Gael Garcia Bernal and Mariana Di Girolamo. A couple gives up their adopted son and the fallout of their decision. I enjoyed the natural feel of this film. The mood is interesting, as the backdrop of the story is sad reality of quitting on a child, but the forefront is a story of self-discovery. Unique story parallels. Ema is a under-the-radar international film that’s worth seeking out. EMA is out on Blu-ray and DVD on January 11 and exclusively on Showtime on January 15 Birds Like Us is lovely and endearing story of a group of birds on a journey to find a better life. I loved the musical score from Peter Gabriel. The voice cast is tremendous with the likes of Jeremy Irons and Alicia Vikander. I liked the variety of birds featured in the film. they are colorful, unique with ranging personalities. This is a great family film, for kids and parents. A heartwarming story with some laughs along the way. BIRDS LIKE US releases on DVD, Digital and On Demand of January 25th. Five seasons completed and Billions is going strong. Season five has the Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis) and Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) rivalry reignited. New enemies, new alliances and new feuds emerge. This might be the best and most dramatic season yet. The show is getting better and leaves you anticipating the final sixth season of the series with what culminates in season five.
