With streaming apps, television and theatrical there are tons of movie choices for consumers on a daily basis. It would be impossible to be on track to watch it all. I am here to help you suggest some hidden surprises that you might not have a chance to check out. This week the movies in the spotlight are Slaughterhouse Rulez and The 16th Episode.

SLAUGHTERHOUSE RULEZ:

How would you like to have Simon Pegg as your boarding school teacher? Sounds like a fun, wild and wacky place to be. That’s what happens in Slaughterhouse Rulez, where bloody horror is unleashed in the most comedic tone.

A stellar cast lead by Pegg, Michael Sheen, Margot Robbie and Asa Butterfield delivers on all fronts. If you’re looking for a scary horror that will give you chills and goosebumps, this isn’t the kinda movie to do that. It’s more of a lighthearted horror with more comedy.

Think of Zombieland or Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse as comparisons to this film, but bloodier and with a healthy dose of British humor.

SLAUGHTERHOUSE RULEZ is available on DVD
