THE 16th EPISODE:

What’s the price you’d pay for YouTube followers? For the characters in this film that includes a trip to Casablanca to undergo a satanic ritual. No thanks! The concept of the film is the newer wave of trending horror film theme of a group of bloggers/streamers attempting to do something radical and dangerous to get viewers. It’s basically the new version of found footage horror movies. This concept works and is easy to fit into a horror story.

Now, this film won’t appeal to everyone. It’s more of a millennial niche sort of genre, but fun and entertaining nonetheless. This is a smaller indie, but it accomplishes what it goes for, which is gore, blood and scares.

The production value isn’t top-notch, but that is covered by solid horror action and plot. The 16th Episode isn’t a movie you’re likely to hear about, but you should give it a try.

THE 16th EPISODE releases in Theaters and On Demand June 28th
