The new and exciting (at least it looks that way) Jack Ryan series hits Amazon Prime Video today, but you can catch up with the movies that started it all. The Jack Ryan Combo Collection is out now and it’s definitely worth picking it up. The set includes all five Jack Ryan movies, such as The Hunt For Red October (1990), Patriot Games (1992), Clear and Present Danger (1994), The Sum of All Fears (2002) and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014).
These film star the likes of Sean Connery, Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Chris Pine and Ben Affleck. That’s a heck of a list of some top male leads. They are all really good action spy thrillers. My personal favorite is The Sum of All Fears, in which Jack Ryan (Affleck) must prevent a terrorist plot from a war between U.S. and Russia. In all these movies the stakes are high and the world is at danger. It’s a great set that will be a perfect intro and complement to the new Jack Ryan series you’ll be binging on.
