Could an urban legend be part of a horrible murder? Well, Shenae Grimes-Beech , Izabella Miko and Rachel Melvin play sisters that are attempting to uncover the truth behind their parents mystery murder. This film isn’t a novelty in any major ways, we’ve seen this sort of concept many times of a crazed psycho and a house of torments, but the movie accomplishes what it needs to. It has just enough mystery and scares to make it worthwhile.
The dark lighting adds to the creepiness factor. Grimes-Beech is a solid enough actress to pull through as a lead of the film. If you’re looking for a horror movie to check out this weekend, The Rake can be your pick.
