For those that don’t know, the movie centers around a group of American soldiers during the monumental D-Day invasion during WWII. One of the men is stranded behind enemy lines and the rest of his fellow group soldiers risk their lives to get him back.
Astute directing by Steven Spielberg and fantastic performances by Tom Hanks and Matt Damon who made his mark on Hollywood in this role. It’s a combination of powerful, chilling, emotional and intense film. This is the kind of movie that 4K plays dividend for.
