Based on the best-selling books by Jay Asher, 13 Reasons Why was a hit series on Netflix that everyone was talking about. Now, you can own the entire first season of the show on DVD. The show follows Clay Jenson (Dylan Minnette) who finds a cassette with the details of the 13 reasons why his classmate and crush Hannah Baker committed suicide.

This is a heck of a compelling mysterious series. It’s one of these shows that has you glued to it from episode to episode. Aside from the intriguing plot to follow, the story shares an important look at depression and the pressures teenagers face these days. It’s not only a show that’s relatable for teens, but parents should check this show out also. The 13 episodes had me sucked in and season 2 is approaching. Check out the first season of 13 Reasons Why and you’ll know why it was such a phenomenon of last year. For fans of the show and those who haven’t seen it or don’t have Netflix, the DVD set offers some really good bonus content.

Once upon a time I watched Monday Night Raw on Monday nights. By coincidence I ended up hooked on The Bachelor/Bachelorette. That lead to a Blog at Chicago Now called Bachelor Universe and a podcast of the same name. Now, I've decided to spread my wings and create this site that can be your Bachelor/Bachelorette destination. Aside from The Bachelor, in my personal life I'm a bachelor myself. Looking for the love of my life (not handing out many roses). I'm an avid animal lover. Have a rabbit and two turtles. I'm a film critic and co-founder of the Chicago Independent Film Critics Circle (CIFCC). Lover of sports. Currently residing in the suburbs of Chicago (my hometown).
