Must See Movie Releases of the Week (Feb. 27)

MIDNIGHTERS:

This is a sneaky good horror thriller comes from the Ramsay brothers, Julian of AMC’s The Walking Dead and Alston, a former Secretary of Defense speechwriter and senior adviser (for real). Reminded me of a movie such as The Strangers with it’s nerve tingling tension and cringe worthy moments.

The plot is intriguing. A couple with their marriage on the rocks is heading home after their NYE party only to run over someone, stuff the body in the backseat and end up being terrorized by a freaky “Detective”. That house would be safer being possessed by demons instead of this freaky character. Some real solid scares and that will bring along plenty of goosebumps (not the show). Solid acting performances with a creative story that will have you locked in. That is if you aren’t looking away or hiding under the covers.

MIDNIGHTERS is out now in select theaters, VOD and Digital HD
