SLAUGHTER HIGH:

Don’t mess with Marty! This 1986 cult classic is out for the first time on Blu-ray and uncut. The story revolves around eight people invited to a mysterious ten-year high school reunion. The reunion is a revenge scheme by Marty, who had been humiliated and disfigured by this group of people during their high school days. There is a lot of blood and guts. This horror plays a bit campy and humorous these days, but it’s a lot of fun and very 80’s to the core. Horror fans will certainly enjoy this Vestron Video Collector’s Series Blu-ray restored and remastered edition.

Blu-ray Features:

  • Audio Commentary with Co-Writers/Directors George Dugdale and Peter Litten
  • Audio Interview with Composer Harry Manfredini featuring Isolated Music and SFX Selections
  • “Going to Pieces” Featurette with Co-Writer/Director Mark Ezra
  • “My Days at Doddsville” Featurette with Actress Caroline Munro
  • Alternate Title Sequence
  • Theatrical Trailer
  • Radio Spots
  • Still Gallery

Once upon a time I watched Monday Night Raw on Monday nights. By coincidence I ended up hooked on The Bachelor/Bachelorette. That lead to a Blog at Chicago Now called Bachelor Universe and a podcast of the same name. Now, I've decided to spread my wings and create this site that can be your Bachelor/Bachelorette destination. Aside from The Bachelor, in my personal life I'm a bachelor myself. Looking for the love of my life (not handing out many roses). I'm an avid animal lover. Have a rabbit and two turtles. I'm a film critic and co-founder of the Chicago Independent Film Critics Circle (CIFCC). Lover of sports. Currently residing in the suburbs of Chicago (my hometown).
