Dire times require dire circumstances. In Acts of Vengeance, Antonio Banderas plays a man that takes a unique approach to avenge the murder of his wife and daughter by taking a vow of silence and testing his body to limits. Banderas shows a different side of him in this film. Yes, there is plenty of action and very good fight choreography, but the vulnerability he displays is noticeable. There is more depth to the story than your standard action flick. It’s a lot closer to a John Wick movie than a mindless forgettable action flick. Good directing. One of the better performances from Banderas in years. Impressive fight choreography. These are just a few of the reasons you should see this film.
Acts of Vengeanceis out now in select theaters and On Demand
