Starring the underrated Fran Kranz as a Gilby Smalls, a guy that gets himself immersed in a web of lies by trying to impress a girl. This is a scenario that some men can definitely relate to at some point in their lives. The girl he’s trying to impress is played by Odette Annable. The goofy awkward moments are some of the funniest and most relatable scenes in the movie. It pretty much consists of him getting exposed in a lie and attempting to get around it. There is a message to take away from Gilby, that lies eventually will get exposed and you will have to face the reality of it, which usually is uncomfortable. The Truth About Lies is entertaining, funny and relatable. Kranz are Annable are likable actors who fit well nicely in their roles.
The Truth About Liesis out now in select theaters and VOD from Blue Fox Entertainment
