Actor Ryan Eggold turns into director Ryan Eggold. Justin Long plays Adam, a young guy that’s invited to his ex-girlfriends wedding. Awkward. Actually, there are plenty of funny awkward moments in the film. Cobie Smulders plays Allison, the ex. This is a charming, fun and enjoyable film. Eggold does a great job in his directorial debut. The characters are well written by Eggold, each one of them serves a purpose and brings something to the story. Long and Smulders play off each other really well. The strong supporting cast includes John Cho, Ryan Hansen, Kristen Schaal and Lea Thompson among others. If you’re looking for a fun and entertaining under-the-radar comedy, this is the movie to see.

Once upon a time I watched Monday Night Raw on Monday nights. By coincidence I ended up hooked on The Bachelor/Bachelorette. That lead to a Blog at Chicago Now called Bachelor Universe and a podcast of the same name. Now, I've decided to spread my wings and create this site that can be your Bachelor/Bachelorette destination. Aside from The Bachelor, in my personal life I'm a bachelor myself. Looking for the love of my life (not handing out many roses). I'm an avid animal lover. Have a rabbit and two turtles. I'm a film critic and co-founder of the Chicago Independent Film Critics Circle (CIFCC). Lover of sports. Currently residing in the suburbs of Chicago (my hometown).
