Family secrets, killer-for-hire and extraordinary feasts galore. Sounds to me like an appealing concept. Check out the synopsis and you’ll know what I mean.
Synopsis: After a violent incident with a school nemesis, 17-year-old Chance Sinclair (Avery Konrad) is sent to live with her draconian grandfather (Timothy V. Murphy) at his lavish estate, where she soon uncovers a dangerous ancient family secret. Suddenly caught between warring factions of the family, her only hope for survival may well come from a killer-for-hire (Jonathan Lipnicki) with a fortuitous stroke of culinary genius.
The movie is full of surprises and turns. Jonathan Lipnicki is a KILLER-FOR-HIRE. Yes, the little bespectacled cute kid from Jerry Maguire is all grown up playing hitmen! Ha. Broil is intriguing and entertaining. A fun ride. It’s one of these under-the-radar movies you might not have heard of, but now that you are hearing of it, check it out. Good Halloween season kinda movie.
‘BROIL’ is out now on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital
