I’m not sure what’s more fascinating, the fact that this movie challenges the landscape of color, or that it’s coming from the mind of a 94-year-old artist? Both are impressive. This is a very interesting documentary, that’s much better viewed than explained.

Carlos Cruz-Diez is the genius visionary Kinetic-Optic that the movie centers on. He’s one of the most influential and prominent figures in that field. It’s also a field that’s not commonly known or talked about, so the film gives you a good look and understanding into that world. The movie takes you on a journey with Cruz-Diez as he embarks on a journey to free color from form.

The film premiered at the Palm Springs Festival, but here are some social media links to follow in regards to upcoming screenings and information on the film.
