Movie Pick of the Day: Daniel Isn’t Real

Is Daniel real? You’ll have to see the movie to find out. What I can tell you right now that’s real about it is that it’s real freaky, disturbing, mind-bending and compelling. This movie really grabs your imagination and starts playing mind games. A twisted unique concept that you can’t help but to pay attention to.

Miles Robbins plays a college freshman named Luke that is trying to move past his childhood trauma. In order to cope, Luke decides to recall his childhood imaginary friend, Daniel (Patrick Schwarzenegger). Daniel arrives, but he’s bringing a whole hell of a lot of twisted dangers with him.

I really enjoyed the look of the movie. It has this dark and brooding imagery and the sets have you feeling like you’re inside a carnival haunted house. It’s cool and trippy.

Daniel Isn’t Real is filled with tension packed moments and it takes you on a wild ride through a bunch of rabbit holes to veer you off-tack so that you are constantly guessing as to what is real and what is not. Definitely give this under-the-radar movie a try.

DANIEL ISN’T REAL’ in theaters, on digital and on demand December 6, 2019.
