Apple TV Plus has been rolling out some major shows since the recent debut of the new streaming service. The next big show that Apple is releasing is Truth Be Told (December 6), starring an all-star cast of Oliva Spencer, Aaron Paul and Lizzy Caplan. Reel Talker was on hand for the Los Angeles premiere of the show and spoke to the cast.
AARON PAUL:
This was my first time interviewing Aaron and I was so pleased to get to talk to him. He seems like a terrific guy. Very personable and fun. For the level of stardom he’s had, I found him to be a very grounded individual.
MEKHI PHIFER:
I’ve been a longtime fan of Mekhi as I mentioned to him in the interview. He’s a very cool guy and had great energy about him. It was interesting to hear him talk about journalistic integrity in society and how that was one of the things he had in focus when taking this role.
HANEEFAH WOOD:
Haneefah was so kind and transparent. I really appreciated her honesty and sharing her genuine feelings about stepping on the set and working with greats such as Octavia Spencer. She was very fun to chat with.
COREY KAPLAN (Production Designer):
I found Corey to be interesting and relatable. Production designers have a major influence on the look and feel of a show or movie, so hearing Corey talk about her process and how she connects her work to the actors was some great insight.
