15:17 TO PARIS:

A true-life story of three heroic men who stop a terrorist attack on a train to Paris. These events occurred on August 21, 2015 where three American men prevent an attack on the train and end up saving more than 500 people due to their brave actions. This is a phenomenal story of bravery. The film takes a look at these individuals lives and relationship with each other long before the events of the attack. I enjoyed that this backstory of who they are was presented.

Clint Eastwood has a knack for directing smart film and keeping them simple with a focus on the story and characters, which is exactly what he accomplishes with this film. One of the coolest things about this film is that the heroic trio of Anthony Sadler, Spencer Stone and Alek Skarlatos are played by themselves, not actors portraying them. This sort of authenticity of the actual men this story is about be played by them can’t be replicated. They actually do a fine job of “acting”.

The 15:17 to Paris is a film you can’t miss. The reality of the story will stick with you.
