Two Must-See Movie Releases This Week

As the week winds down, what movies should you catch up on this weekend? Luckily, there are some good choices for Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and VOD this week. Check these two under-the-radar picks in particular:

JIGSAW:

Just when you thought he was gone for good, back comes Jigsaw to terrify and torture poor souls. When investigators uncover a string of gruesome bodies, it leads them to believe that Jigsaw or a copycat of him is out on the loose again. Ten years after the demise of Jigsaw and 8 years since the last Saw movie, the franchise is back and looks refreshed and ready to go for another round of movies.

The Saw franchise can be considered one of the finest horror franchises in the last couple decades, but with multiple films spewing out on a yearly basis (around Halloween), it became stale. This version brings back the flare that the last few movies were missing. It goes back to the slick mind puzzles, while providing genuine intrigue and tension. Jigsaw is believably creepy, and that’s what was needed for this film to work. Is Jigsaw alive? You’ll enjoy the ride in finding that out.
