THE LAST FACE:

A powerful tandem of Javier Bardem and Charlize Theron unite under the direction of Sean Penn. Bardem and Theron play two relief aid doctors that attempt to save human lives during heavy political turmoil in Western Africa. This film gives you a good sense of the horrors that occur on a daily basis in certain parts of Africa. The hardships the locals have to endure and the reliance of humanitarians to help. The tension and intensity is high in the film, as things explode out of nowhere (literally and figuratively). There is a romance portrayed between Bardem and Theron’s characters which gives the film an additional layer. Theron uses her African accent in the movie, which is a thing of a rare occurrence with her.
