Three Thousand Years of Longing is unique. On the surface I couldn't see Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba in these roles, especially Elba playing a genie. On the other hand these roles are perfect for them and they did a great job with them. Both are top-notch actors and they tell this oddly romantic and somewhat confounding story in an engaging way. It's a slow burn, but very imaginative. I thought this film was different and unique in its own way. THREE THOUSAND YEARS OF LONGING is available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on November 15
