Kristen Stewart and Alia Shawkat are a menace of a duo in ‘The Wrong Girls’. A buddy comedy about two young women trying an experimental drug that gave them telepathic abilities. You’ll see what that entails when you see the film. The movie is wacky, comedic and trippy (for obvious reasons).
I had a chance to speak with Kristen Stewart and Alia Shawkat, the stars of the film. We spoke about the cats in the movie, doing pot while filming, Kristen’s double and more!
KRISTEN STEWART & ALIA SHAWKAT:
First time speaking with either of them and it was a fun chat. Kristen has this dry sense of humor and felt she was pretty engaged during the interview. Alia was a partner in crime on set and in the interview. She was getting a kick out of what Kristen was saying and laughing a lot. The two clearly have good chemistry, so made it obvious why they were cast.
The cat story was funny. Can’t believe there was a father-son duo! They were awesome in the movie, so it was cool to hear the cat backstory. As far as the pot? Do you think someone wouldn’t get a little high making this film? Haha
Fun stuff. I found both of them to be pleasantly enjoyable.
