If only meeting a soulmate was as easy as sitting next to them on a flight. It’s not quite how it appears for the two lead characters in this film. Based on a best-selling romantic novel by Sophie Kinsella, tells the story of a woman stuck in a rut in her professional and dating life that has a chance encounter with a man on a flight. A little turbulence and she spills her guts to him, only to find out he’s the CEO of her company. Naturally an up-and-down romance arises.
I found this to be an enjoyable romantic comedy. Alexandra Daddario and Tyler Hoechlin has great chemistry together and are both likable in their roles. This is a simple story and film that’s enjoyable. Being a fan of romantic movies, it’s good to see them incorporated and brought back more into theaters, VOD and streaming services.
