Read Time:1 Minute, 54 Second

The inspiring story of Brian Banks has arrived on the big screen. The former football standout who was wrongfully convicted of a crime now gets a movie made about him. I had an opportunity to attend the press junket for Brian Banks and speak to the cast, director and Brian about the film and the experience making it. Check out the fun interviews below and stick around for the behind-the-scenes bloopers at the end.

ALDIS HODGE & GREG KINNEAR:

Aldis has a very cool vibe to him. Sarcastic and playful, just look at the clip of him coming up with a story about Greg trying out for the Jets. Funny stuff. I felt Greg and Aldis had a good rapport with each other. Greg mentioned they didn’t spend much time filming scenes together, but they seemed very in sync during the press junket, like longtime buddies. Greg is a major star, but you’d never be able to tell by talking to him in person. They both did a terrific job in the film.

BRIAN BANKS & TOM SHADYAC:

It was a big privilege to speak to Brian. I found him to be a very warm and upbeat individual. Big wonderful smile and very positive. The man has been through a lot in his life, so it’s great to see how upbeat and pleasant he is. Tom was sarcastic and humble. He’s accomplished a lot in the industry, but wanted to seek more in life by helping underprivileged kids. Both of these men are fantastic people that have made a difference in many people’s lives. Loved Tom’s answer to his NFL pick, what a great way to end the interview

SHERRI SHEPHERD & MELANIE LIBURD:

Sherri has such a big presence. She really lights up a room with her personality. I found her to be very personable and engaging. Definitely funny. She made a lot of great points in the interview. Melanie was little more reserved, but funny also. She has this gracefulness and beauty to her, she also gave some great thoughtful answers. I feel her star is growing and she will be a household name soon.

BRIAN BANKS’ is out now in Theaters nationwide
