LONG LIVE THE BAT:

It’s the 80th anniversary of Batman. Warner Bros. is releasing Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin individually and remastered in 4k Ultra HD for the first time ever. The first three two movies starred Michael Keaton as Batman and were directed by Tim Burton. The following two starred Val Kilmer and George Clooney as Batman and were directed by Joel Schumacher.

These movies laid the foundation for what became the Nolan trilogy and then Zack Snyder’s version that starred Ben Affleck as Batman. With recent news of Robert Pattinson taking over the Batman role, seeing the original movies in a new never seen remastered form should be plenty exciting.

The four-film collection will be released together on Blu-ray on September 17, 2019.

Own Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack on June 4. Own the Four Film Collection on September 17
