Home Entertainment New Release Pick of the Week: ‘Glass’

Read Time:4 Minute, 5 Second

This weeks must-see movie packs a lot of star power. Bruce Willis, James McAvoy and Samuel L. Jackson star in Glass (4K UHD, Blu-ray, Digital). The story started with M. Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable then continued with Split. In Glass, we get the main characters from those films, with the addition of Glass himself, in Samuel L. Jackson. Basically it’s an all-star movie of villainous heroes.

Glass is a blend of a comic book action action and thriller. It’s interesting how Shyamalan features these anti-heroes. Since they were individual stars in their respective films, dispersing the spotlight isn’t an easy task. We see them united and divided at different points in the movie.

This is Shyamalan’s Avengers, just darker and twisted. What makes this film intriguing is the good versus evil debate among the characters. There is a grey area of what’s considered moral to them and what isn’t. This is the end of the road for this trilogy. Who will come out on top and who will falter is the ultimate question this movie tackles.

There are a ton of bonus features worth delving into and checking out.
