If you’re looking for an action thriller with a killer (no pun intended) femme fatale, then look no further than this South Korean flick. The story follows Sook-hee, a badass female assassin who is on a torrid revenge tour after a broken promise of her freedom. This film has the best elements of a top-notch action thriller, an interesting character to follow, outstanding choreographed fights and solid storyline. Aside from all the action, the stylish look of the film is a thing to see. Director Jeong Byeong-Gil delivers fascinating angles to mesh with the action. It’s best to be experienced by seeing the film. which you definitely should to gain a true appreciation of what’s presented.

The Villainess is out now on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD
