WHAT MEN WANT:
The age old question of what men and women want? Who can answer it? I don’t even know what I want myself, but Taraji P. Henson gets the ultimate look inside the minds of men. Scary!
The film is a romantic comedy with a lot of sass. Henson’s character Ali Davis is a star sports agent who doesn’t get the credit she deserves due to her male colleagues taking the spotlight. A crazy wild night leads to a mysterious event where Ali can hear men’s inner thoughts. Imagine the craziness that ensues?
I had a lot of fun watching this. This film appeals to both men and women, as the comedy translates and we can all find some relatable interactions that Ali comes across.
Aside from the natural conveyed humor, I think what this film states boldly is that we might not want to know what everyone else is thinking. What Men Want is a modern day take on the 90’s Mel Gibson movie What Women Want, but this time it’s from a woman’s perspective, which seems a lot more fun. This film is fun, outrageous and somewhat insightful. Check it out.
