Halloween season is almost here and what better way to celebrate it with one of the all-time horror classics. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is celebrating its 50th anniversary of it’s release. Fans will be able to get a special 4K “Chainsaw Edition”.

A Limited Collector’s Edition 4K UHD + Blu-ray + VHS in a special Chainsaw Packaging will be available this October for purchase through Dark Sky Selects. Each box set will be numbered and only 5000 have been made available.

  1. Hey Jim, hard to believe that The Texas Chainsaw massacre is 50 years-old 🙂 As you probably know already, it was first released in 1974 🙂 Did you know that Tobe Hooper directed it – as you probably know, the same guy who directed 1982’s Poltergeist 🙂
