Kyle Gallner and Emily Skaggs are a duo I want to see on-screen over and over again. They star in the dark comedy Dinner in America. The film is all kinds of wacky and wild. A trip for sure.

I had a chance to speak to them about working together. The bond they developed and the chaos they created for the movie. Check out this fun convo with these two talented and engaging actors.

REAL TALK:

These two were a blast to chat with. I’ve been a fan of Kyle Gallner for a long time. Who can forget the fear on his face in The Haunting in Connecticut. Emily I wasn’t familiar with prior to the movie, but came away really impressed with and a fan of. They had great chemistry together on-screen and clearly off-screen, in this interview.

I loved when they shared compliments about each other. The trust and respect was evident and I can see how they developed a genuine real friendship. Kyle called Emily his “ultimate safety net” and “the friend you want in your life”. Super cool. Emily’s reaction was very genuine to what Kyle said. It was a sweet moment.

I asked Kyle about the Lea Thompson scene and he described very eloquently their scene and interaction. He was very gracious in his praise for Lea. She seems like a really awesome person and actress, and it’s also not the first time I’ve heard that about Lea.

I thought this film was really fun and badass. It was entertaining chaos, unfiltered and raw. Best part was talking about the real life facts. The reaction we had to the frog fun-fact was great also, frog work from Kyle, I’ll be on the lookout for it! Haha.

DINNER IN AMERICA out now in select Theaters and on Digital and On Demand on Tuesday, June 7th
