Lucy Punch certainly can pack a punch when it comes to her acting skills. The London born actress has had some memorable roles in some popular films and shows, such as, Into the Wood, Bad Teacher and Motherland to name a few.
Her latest film is the Christmas themed dark comedy Silent Night. Lucy stars alongside a fantastic ensemble cast that includes Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode and Annabelle Wallis.
I spoke to Lucy about Silent Night. How did she bond with the cast? British holidays. How she celebrates her holidays, plus fun facts game with Lucy about liquor.
REAL TALK:
This was my first time speaking with Lucy Punch, and she was great. Very kind and engaging. Lively personality. Sweet person. I really enjoyed her character in Silent Night. The film has such a fantastic ensemble cast with so many star names, yet everyone gets their time to shine in the film.
So the premise of the film is that friends gather for a final Christmas celebration as a deadly plague looms. You can expect all sorts of shenanigans and craziness. It’s entertaining and fun, especially with all thee dancing, which made me wonder if that’s how Lucy and Brit’s in general celebrate Christmas.
I wanted to know about thee cast and how they bonded, apparently they had a dinner to start things out and bonded at this house and location of the shoot. They looked like they bonded well on-screen.
I’ve begun to share fun facts with my interview guests from a book of useless information. Lucy was a good sport and participated. The random topic ended up being about booze, which ended up turning into a fun chat. Looks like Lucy and I both learned some new interesting booze facts. I look forward to chatting with her again, she’s a great interview.
