Elisabeth Röhm is the definition of a successful working actor. The German born actress has appeared in over 85 film and television shows, including David O. Russell’s American Hustle and Joy. Her latest film is based on the true story of MMA fighter Nick Newell and it’s called Notorious Nick.
I spoke to Elisabeth about her role in Notorious Nick. Working alongside Cody Christian. Her passion for her foundation. Plus, what she does to keep herself so youthful looking!
REAL TALK:
It was a treat to get to talk to Elisabeth. I’ve been a fan of her work for a while. Not only does she possess graceful beauty, but she’s an immensely talented actor. I wasn’t aware that she started directing, she has one film completed, the crime thriller Girl in the Basement, and another one on the way called Nurturing Healing Love. Exciting stuff.
Elisabeth spoke highly of her co-star Cody Christian, who plays Nick Newell in the film. Seemed like she genuinely feels he has movie star potential. That’s high praise for an actor of her caliber. Cody was really good in the film and got into incredible shape to play Nick Newell.
I was pleased to hear about her passion for her foundation “The Respect Project”. She’s doing great work for inclusion. For fun she is a roadtripper and into cycling, which are two fun activities.
Elisabeth does good work playing Stacey Newell in the film and the mother-son bond she has with her on-screen son Cody Christian was outstanding. This isn’t a film only for MMA fans, Notorious Nick is an unbelievable inspiring story for everyone to see and experience.
