Zetna Fuentes has one impressive resume. Having directed episodes for such shows as Ray Donovan, Shameless, Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder, Grey’s Anatomy and many more! Her latest show she directs is the Netflix series Cursed, starring Katherine Langford.

I spoke to Zetna about Cursed and working on that set and with Katherine Langford. She also spoke about directing television and her favorite quarantine show. Check out the interview below.

REAL TALK:

Zetna was great. Very upbeat with great energy. Personable. It was my first time speaking to her and she was very friendly and conversational. She’s a very accomplished TV director.

Was curious to hear the difference working in television where you jump on shows for a short run and move on, versus a feature, which helm the entire film. It was interesting to hear her experience on it.

Cursed seems to be the first show she’s worked on with a lot of visual effects and more of the sci-fi nature. She really seemed impressed by Katherine Langford and excited to work with show creators/writers Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler.

Fun interview. Hope to catch up with Zetna down the road and curious to see what projects she will take on next. I’d like to see her direct some movies, think she’d do a very good job. Great to see a female director representing and doing great work.

‘CURSED’ is out now exclusively on Netflix
