Faith, love and music. The right kind of formula to deliver all the feels you can ask for. Certainly the film has elements of a Nicholas Sparks flick, but I Still Believe actually portrays the true story of Christian music star Jeremy Camp. The film stars K.J. Apa as Camp and Britt Robertson as his love interest Melissa Henning.
I’ll preface this by saying I’m a huge sucker for romantic dramas like this, especially ones with a true-life aspect to them. This film hit many interest points of mine. It’s a pretty spiritual movie, as faith plays a big role in the storyline.
I Still Believe is an inspiring love story with loss and heartbreak. It will warrant some tissues even for all of you who don’t dare to shed a tear. Solid performances from the leads and supporting actors, Gary Sinise, Nathan Parsons and country music legend Shania Twain!
I recommend giving this a shot. Good faith inspired romance movies are hard to come by. I Still Believe will definitely make you believe and feel things.
